Decking is an unforeseen cost. This price covers the roof covering only. Decking — the wood sheathing under your shingles — can’t be seen until the old roof is off. Some homes need zero boards; others need a full re-deck, and some older homes have slat (plank) decking. Because we value transparency, JTF photographs your deck and tells you the exact board count before replacing anything. Decking is billed at $100 per board (OSB/plywood) or $9 per linear foot (slat decking). Out-of-pocket costs are due at completion. All out-of-pocket costs — including your insurance deductible, any upgrades you select, decking, and similar items — are due upon completion of the project.
