These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the JTF Home Group LLC ("JTF," "we," "us," or "our") website located at jtfhomegroup.com and all related services, including roofing inspection, repair, installation, and insurance coordination services. By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using our website, requesting a quote, scheduling a service, or otherwise engaging with JTF Home Group, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our website or services.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes become effective upon posting to our website. Your continued use of our services after any modifications constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
2. Services Description
JTF Home Group provides residential and commercial roofing services, including but not limited to:
- Roof inspection and damage assessment
- Roof repair and full replacement
- Storm damage restoration
- Insurance claim coordination and advocacy
- Gutter installation and repair
- Siding installation and repair
All services are subject to availability, scheduling, and the specific terms outlined in your service agreement or contract.
3. Estimates and Pricing
- Estimates are valid for 30 days from the date of issuance unless otherwise stated in writing. After 30 days, material costs, labor rates, and project scope may require re-evaluation.
- All estimates are subject to on-site inspection. Final pricing is determined after a thorough physical inspection of the property. Remote or preliminary estimates may differ from the final scope of work.
- Insurance claims are subject to adjuster approval. For insurance-covered projects, the final scope and pricing are determined through the claims process and may be adjusted based on the insurance company's assessment, supplemental claims, and any agreed-upon line items.
- Additional work discovered during the project that falls outside the original scope will be communicated to you before proceeding. Supplemental estimates will be provided for approval.
4. Scheduling and Property Access
By scheduling a service with JTF Home Group, you agree to:
- Provide reasonable access to the property and work areas necessary for completion of the project
- Ensure vehicles, personal property, and obstacles are removed from work areas prior to the scheduled start date
- Provide timely notice (minimum 48 hours) if you need to reschedule or cancel an appointment
- Be available or designate an authorized representative to be present at the property when required for inspections, adjuster meetings, or project milestones
JTF Home Group reserves the right to reschedule work due to weather conditions, material availability, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control.
5. Payment Terms
- Payment is due upon project completion unless alternative financing arrangements have been made in writing prior to the start of work.
- For insurance-covered projects, insurance proceeds may be assigned to JTF Home Group upon your written authorization. You remain responsible for your insurance deductible and any amounts not covered by your policy.
- We accept payment by check, credit card, ACH transfer, and approved financing options.
- Accounts past due by more than 30 days may be subject to a late fee of 1.5% per month or the maximum rate allowed by law, whichever is less.
- In the event of non-payment, JTF Home Group reserves the right to file a mechanic's lien on the property in accordance with applicable state law.
6. Warranty
Workmanship Warranty
JTF Home Group warrants that all work performed will be free from defects in workmanship for a period specified in your service contract (typically 5 years from the date of completion). This warranty covers labor and installation quality only.
Manufacturer Warranty
Roofing materials and products are covered by the respective manufacturer's warranty, which is separate from and in addition to our workmanship warranty. Warranty terms, coverage, and claim procedures vary by manufacturer and product line. JTF Home Group will assist you with manufacturer warranty claims when applicable.
Warranty Exclusions
Warranties do not cover damage caused by:
- Acts of God, including storms, hurricanes, tornadoes, or other severe weather events occurring after installation
- Unauthorized modifications or repairs performed by others
- Failure to maintain the roof in accordance with recommended maintenance guidelines
- Normal wear and tear
- Damage caused by foot traffic, antenna installation, or other external activities on the roof
7. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, JTF Home Group's total liability for any claims arising from or related to our services shall not exceed the total amount paid by you for the specific service giving rise to the claim. In no event shall JTF Home Group be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or use.
This limitation applies regardless of whether the damages are based on warranty, contract, tort, strict liability, or any other legal theory.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on the JTF Home Group website, including text, graphics, logos, images, photographs, videos, and software, is the property of JTF Home Group LLC or its content suppliers and is protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
The JTF Home Group name, logo, and all related names, logos, product and service names, designs, and slogans are trademarks of JTF Home Group LLC. You may not use these marks without our prior written permission.
9. Dispute Resolution
Any dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or our services shall be resolved through the following process:
- Informal resolution: The parties shall first attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting each other directly. You agree to contact us at info@jtfhomegroup.com before initiating any formal proceedings.
- Binding arbitration: If informal resolution is unsuccessful within 30 days, any remaining dispute shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association in accordance with its Consumer Arbitration Rules. The arbitration shall take place in Mobile, Alabama.
- Governing law: These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Alabama, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. JTF Home Group operates across multiple states including Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, and Texas; however, Alabama law governs these Terms as the company's principal place of business.
You agree that any dispute resolution proceedings will be conducted only on an individual basis and not in a class, consolidated, or representative action.
10. Termination
Either party may terminate a service agreement under the following conditions:
- Mutual written agreement of both parties
- Material breach of contract by either party that remains uncured for 14 days after written notice
- Cancellation prior to the start of work, subject to any cancellation fees outlined in the service agreement
Upon termination, you are responsible for payment of all services rendered and materials procured up to the date of termination. JTF Home Group will make reasonable efforts to leave the property in a safe and weathertight condition.
